Anti-SLC18B1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein solute carrier family 18 member B1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 456 amino acid residues and a mass of 48.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasmic vesicles. It is reported to be expressed in various tissues including lung, placenta, adrenal gland, liver, testis, and brain. It is a member of the Major facilitator protein superfamily. Synonyms for this target antigen include MFS-type transporter C6orf192, solute carrier family 18, subfamily B, member 1, vesicular polyamine transporter, and MFS-type transporter SLC18B1. SLC18B1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunofluorescence is the most common application for the SLC18B1 antibodies listed below. Immunocytochemistry and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
