Anti-RRP4p antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target RRP4p is a known alias name of the protein exosome component 2, encoded by the EXOSC2 gene in humans. This 293-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a non-catalytic component of the RNA exosome complex which has 3'->5' exoribonuclease activity and participates in a multitude of cellular RNA processing and degradation events. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for RRP4p include RRP4 and SHRF. Indicated applications for RRP4p antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
