Anti-SEC15L3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SEC15L3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the EXOC6 gene, which encodes exocyst complex component 6. This protein is known to function in exocytosis and intracellular protein transport, among other biological roles. The human version of SEC15L3 has a canonical amino acid length of 804 residues and a protein mass of 93.7 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include EXOC6A, SEC15, and SEC15L.
