Anti-RME8 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the RME8 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the DNAJC13 gene, which encodes DnaJ heat shock protein family (Hsp40) member C13. This protein is known to function in osteoblast differentiation and protein transport, among other biological roles. The human version of RME8 has a canonical amino acid length of 2243 residues and a protein mass of 254.4 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the membrane of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include PARK21 and dnaJ homolog subfamily C member 13.
