Anti-TJP4 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the TJP4 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TJAP1 gene, which encodes tight junction associated protein 1. This protein is known to function in Golgi organization, among other biological roles. The human version of TJP4 has a canonical amino acid length of 557 residues and a protein mass of 61.8 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the Golgi and cell membrane of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types.
