Anti-SALP antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SALP is a known alias name of the protein KH RNA binding domain containing, signal transduction associated 3, encoded by the KHDRBS3 gene in humans. This 346-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a RNA-binding protein that plays a role in the regulation of alternative splicing and influences mRNA splice site selection and exon inclusion. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is found to be widely expressed, with higher expression in testis, skeletal muscle and brain. Other synonyms for SALP include Etle and SLM-2. Indicated applications for SALP antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
