Anti-RSP6 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target RSP6 is a known alias name of the protein radial spoke head 6 homolog A, encoded by the RSPH6A gene in humans. This 717-amino acid residue protein is known to functions as part of radial spoke complexes in the axoneme of sperm flagella that play an important part in motility. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the testis.
