Anti-RNS1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target RNS1 is a known alias name of the protein ribonuclease A family member 1, pancreatic, encoded by the RNASE1 gene in humans. This 156-amino acid residue protein is a reported endonuclease that catalyzes the cleavage of RNA on the 3' side of pyrimidine nucleotides. The protein is secreted and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and cerebellum. Other synonyms for RNS1 include RAC1 and RIB1. These RNS1 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
