Anti-SGD1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SGD1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CEBPE gene, which encodes CCAAT enhancer binding protein epsilon. This protein is known to function in the cellular response to lipopolysaccharides and granulocyte differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of SGD1 has a canonical amino acid length of 281 residues and a protein mass of 30.6 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and notably expressed in the bone marrow and testis. Other names for this target antigen include C/EBP-epsilon, C/EBP-epsilon, and CRP1. Indicated applications for SGD1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
