Anti-PP610 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PP610 is a known alias name of the protein Rho GTPase activating protein 8, encoded by the ARHGAP8 gene in humans. This 464-amino acid residue protein is known to be a GTPase activator for the Rho-type GTPases by converting them to an inactive GDP-bound state. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the kidney and placenta.
