Anti-PTK3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PTK3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the DDR1 gene, which encodes discoidin domain receptor tyrosine kinase 1. This protein is known to function in neuronal development and cell adhesion, among other biological roles. The human version of PTK3 has a canonical amino acid length of 913 residues and a protein mass of 101.1 kilodaltons, although 5 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane and is secreted of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include CAK, CD167, and DDR.
