Anti-PAPD2 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The PAPD2 antigen is another term for the human protein terminal uridylyl transferase 1, U6 snRNA-specific, encoded by the TUT1 gene. The protein is reported to be a Poly(A) polymerase that creates the 3'-poly(A) tail of specific pre-mRNAs. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 874 residues and a mass of 93.8 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and it is widely expressed across many tissue types. The PAPD2 protein is a member of the DNA polymerase type-B-like protein family.
