Anti-PHS2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PHS2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the GLI2 gene, which encodes GLI family zinc finger 2. This protein is known to function in axon guidance and viral immune response, among other biological roles. The human version of PHS2 has a canonical amino acid length of 1586 residues and a protein mass of 167.8 kilodaltons, although 5 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. PHS2 is a member of the GLI C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family.
