Anti-HSDB antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HSDB is a known alias name of the protein hydroxy-delta-5-steroid dehydrogenase, 3 beta- and steroid delta-isomerase 2, encoded by the HSD3B2 gene in humans. This 372-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in brain development, among other biological processes. It is localized to the mitochondria and ER of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in adrenal gland, testis and ovary. Other synonyms for HSDB include HSD3B and SDR11E2. Indicated applications for HSDB antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
