Anti-PLEXA4 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PLEXA4 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PLXNA4 gene, which encodes plexin A4. This protein is known to function in the regulation of cell shape, among other biological roles. The human version of PLEXA4 has a canonical amino acid length of 1894 residues and a protein mass of 212.5 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in the cerebellum. PLEXA4 is a member of the Plexin protein family.
