Anti-NCS6 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the NCS6 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CTU1 gene, which encodes cytosolic thiouridylase subunit 1. This protein is known to play an important role in 2-thiolation of mcm(5)S(2)U at tRNA wobble positions of tRNA(Lys), tRNA(Glu) and tRNA(Gln). The human version of NCS6 has a canonical amino acid length of 348 residues and a protein mass of 36.5 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells. NCS6 is a member of the TtcA protein family. Indicated applications for NCS6 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
