Anti-NUC1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target NUC1 is a known alias name of the protein peroxisome proliferator activated receptor delta, encoded by the PPARD gene in humans. This 441-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in adipose tissue development and the apoptotic pathway, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features ubiquitinated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for NUC1 include FAAR and NR1C2. Western Blot is the most common application for the NUC1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
