Anti-HCAM1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HCAM1 is a known alias name of the protein phosphodiesterase 1A, encoded by the PDE1A gene in humans. This 535-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in signal transduction pathways, among other biological processes. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for HCAM1 include CAM-PDE 1A, CAM-PDE-1A, and HCAM-1.
