Anti-L49mt antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The L49mt antigen is another term for the human protein mitochondrial ribosomal protein L49, encoded by the MRPL49 gene. The protein is known to function in mitochondrial translation, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 166 residues and a mass of 19.2 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria and it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. The L49mt protein is a member of the Mitochondrion-specific ribosomal protein mL49 protein family. Other alias names for L49mt include C11orf4 and NOF.
