Anti-HLNX antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The HLNX antigen is another term for the human protein neuroligin 4 X-linked, encoded by the NLGN4X gene. The protein is known to function in brain development and chemical synaptic transmission, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 816 residues and a mass of 91.9 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is reported to be expressed at highest levels in the heart. The HLNX protein is a member of the Type-B carboxylesterase/lipase protein family. Indicated applications for HLNX antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
