Anti-MCTO antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MCTO antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MAFB gene, which encodes MAF bZIP transcription factor B. This protein is known to function in the differentiation of certain cell types, among other biological roles. The human version of MCTO has a canonical amino acid length of 323 residues and a protein mass of 35.8 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the parathyroid gland and testis. Other names for this target antigen include DURS3 and KRML. Indicated applications for MCTO antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, and Western Blot.
