Anti-LL5beta antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target LL5beta is a known alias name of the protein pleckstrin homology like domain family B member 2, encoded by the PHLDB2 gene in humans. This 1253-amino acid residue protein is suspected to be involved in the assembly of the postsynaptic apparatus. It is localized to the membrane and cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
