Anti-JADE2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein jade family PHD finger 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 790 amino acid residues and a mass of 87.5 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the JADE protein family, Jade2 is reported to be a scaffold subunit of some HBO1 complexes, which have a histone H4 acetyltransferase activity. Synonyms for this target antigen include E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase Jade-2, PHD finger protein 15, jade family PHD finger protein 2, and PHF15. JADE2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some Jade2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
