Anti-H3F3C antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target H3F3C is a known alias name of the protein H3.5 histone, encoded by the H3-5 gene in humans. This 135-amino acid residue protein is an important component of nucleosome. It is localized to the nucleus and chromosomes of the cell and features ubiquitinated, acetylated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in the seminiferous tubules of testis. Some H3F3C antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
