Anti-IEX-1L antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target IEX-1L is a known alias name of the protein immediate early response 3, encoded by the IER3 gene in humans. This 156-amino acid residue protein is believed to play a role in the ERK signaling pathway by inhibiting the dephosphorylation of ERK by phosphatase PP2A-PPP2R5C holoenzyme. It is localized to the membrane of the cell and features glycosylated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for IEX-1L include DIF-2, DIF2, and GLY96. Indicated applications for IEX-1L antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
