Anti-HAF antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HAF is a known alias name of the protein spliceosome associated factor 1, recruiter of U4/U6.U5 tri-snRNP, encoded by the SART1 gene in humans. This 800-amino acid residue protein is reported to play a role in mRNA splicing as a component of the U4/U6-U5 tri-snRNP, one of the building blocks of the spliceosome. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features sumoylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other synonyms for HAF include Ara1 and HOMS1. Western Blot is a widely used application for the HAF antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
