Anti-Gcn5l1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Gcn5l1 is a known alias name of the protein biogenesis of lysosomal organelles complex 1 subunit 1, encoded by the BLOC1S1 gene in humans. This 153-amino acid residue protein is a known component of the BLOC-1 complex, a complex that is required for normal biogenesis of lysosome-related organelles (LRO), such as platelet dense granules and melanosomes. It is localized to the mitochondria, lysosomes and cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for Gcn5l1 include BLOS1, BLOS1, and BORCS1. Indicated applications for Gcn5l1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
