Anti-HELN1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HELN1 is a known alias name of the protein ELAV like RNA binding protein 2, encoded by the ELAVL2 gene in humans. This 359-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a RNA-binding protein that binds to the 3' untranslated region (3'UTR) of target mRNAs (By similarity). In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to have brain; neural-specific expression. The term HUB is another synonym for HELN1. Western Blot is the most common application for the HELN1 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
