Anti-KIND2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target KIND2 is a known alias name of the protein FERM domain containing kindlin 2, encoded by the FERMT2 gene in humans. This 680-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a scaffolding protein that enhances integrin activation mediated by TLN1 and/or TLN2, but activates integrins only weakly by itself. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other synonyms for KIND2 include MIG2 and PLEKHC1.
