Anti-IPS1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the IPS1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PPIP5K1 gene, which encodes diphosphoinositol pentakisphosphate kinase 1. This protein is known to function in protein phosphorylation, among other biological roles. The human version of IPS1 has a canonical amino acid length of 1433 residues and a protein mass of 159.5 kilodaltons, although 7 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. IPS1 is a member of the Histidine acid phosphatase protein family.
