Anti-hR-PTPu antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The hR-PTPu antigen is another term for the human protein protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type M, encoded by the PTPRM gene. The protein is a known receptor protein-tyrosine phosphatase that mediates homotypic cell-cell interactions and plays a role in adipogenic differentiation via modulation of p120 catenin/CTNND1 phosphorylation. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 1452 residues and a mass of 163.7 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. The hR-PTPu protein is a member of the Protein-tyrosine phosphatase protein family. Other alias names for hR-PTPu include PTPRL1, R-PTP-MU, and RPTPM.
