Anti-CXXC3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CXXC3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MBD1 gene, which encodes methyl-CpG binding domain protein 1. This protein is known to function in transcription by RNA polymerase II, among other biological roles. The human version of CXXC3 has a canonical amino acid length of 605 residues and a protein mass of 66.6 kilodaltons, although 11 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. These CXXC3 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
