Anti-D-AKAP-2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the D-AKAP-2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the AKAP10 gene, which encodes A-kinase anchoring protein 10. This protein is known to function in protein localization and signal transduction pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of D-AKAP-2 has a canonical amino acid length of 662 residues and a protein mass of 73.8 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the mitochondria and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the cerebral cortex, urinary bladder, and appendix. This target antigen may also be known as D-AKAP2. Western Blot is the most common application for the D-AKAP-2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
