Anti-double homeobox 1 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the DUX1 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 170 amino acid residues and a mass of 19.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is reported to be expressed in rhabdomyosarcoma TE671 cells as well as in several other normal and cancer cells. A member of the Paired homeobox protein family, it is a suspected transcription activator. Other names for this target antigen include double homeobox protein 1. These double homeobox 1 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
