Anti-BCRM1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the BCRM1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SFXN4 gene, which encodes sideroflexin 4. The human version of BCRM1 has a canonical amino acid length of 337 residues and a protein mass of 38 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the mitochondria of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. BCRM1 is a member of the Sideroflexin protein family.
