Anti-CLK/STY antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CLK/STY is a known alias name of the protein CDC like kinase 1, encoded by the CLK1 gene in humans. This 484-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in peptidyl-serine phosphorylation and protein phosphorylation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in many tissues, such as the caudate, urinary bladder, and appendix. Other synonyms for CLK/STY include CLK and STY.
