Anti-Cavin 4 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Cavin 4 is a known alias name of the protein caveolae associated protein 4, encoded by the CAVIN4 gene in humans. This 364-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cell differentiation and muscle organ development, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane and cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be expressed in the testis, skeletal muscle, and heart muscle.
