Anti-CS3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CS3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MYOZ3 gene, which encodes myozenin 3. The human version of CS3 has a canonical amino acid length of 251 residues and a protein mass of 27.2 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the skeletal muscle. CS3 is a member of the Myozenin protein family.
