Anti-csp1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The csp1 antigen is another term for the human protein regulator of calcineurin 1, encoded by the RCAN1 gene. The protein is reported to inhibit calcineurin-dependent transcriptional responses by binding to the catalytic domain of calcineurin A. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 252 residues and a mass of 28.1 kilodaltons. It is expressed in many tissues, such as the cerebellum and kidney.
