Anti-FANCP antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target FANCP is a known alias name of the protein SLX4 structure-specific endonuclease subunit, encoded by the SLX4 gene in humans. This 1834-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a regulatory subunit that interacts with and increases the activity of different structure-specific endonucleases. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. It is reported to be expressed in many tissues, such as the bronchus, urinary bladder, and adrenal gland.
