Anti-CLERC antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CLERC antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the LRRCC1 gene, which encodes leucine rich repeat and coiled-coil centrosomal protein 1. This protein is known to function in the cell cycle, among other biological roles. The human version of CLERC has a canonical amino acid length of 1032 residues and a protein mass of 119.6 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells. CLERC is a member of the LRRCC1 protein family.
