Anti-ABG antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ABG antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the A1BG gene, which encodes alpha-1-B glycoprotein. The human version of ABG has a canonical amino acid length of 495 residues and a protein mass of 54.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be a secreted protein. Other names for this target antigen include A1B and GAB. Western Blot is the most common application for the ABG antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
