Anti-CRBP2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CRBP2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the RBP2 gene, which encodes retinol binding protein 2. This protein is known to function in epidermis development, among other biological roles. The human version of CRBP2 has a canonical amino acid length of 134 residues and a protein mass of 15.7 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the duodenum and small intestine. Other names for this target antigen include CRABP-II and CRBPII. Western Blot is the most common application for the CRBP2 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
