Anti-AGRT antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the AGRT antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the AGRP gene, which encodes agouti related neuropeptide. This protein is reported to play a role in weight homeostasis. The human version of AGRT has a canonical amino acid length of 132 residues and a protein mass of 14.4 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the Golgi and is secreted of cells and notably expressed in the epididymis and hypothalamus. This target antigen may also be known as ART. Western Blot is the most common application for the AGRT antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
