Anti-AMBP1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target AMBP1 is a known alias name of the protein complement factor H, encoded by the CFH gene in humans. This 1231-amino acid residue protein is a reported glycoprotein that plays an essential role in maintaining a well-balanced immune response by modulating complement activation. The protein is secreted and features sulfated and glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in the retinal pigment epithelium. Other synonyms for AMBP1 include AHUS1 and ARMD4. Western Blot is the most common application for the AMBP1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
