Anti-ALFY antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ALFY antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the WDFY3 gene, which encodes WD repeat and FYVE domain containing 3. This protein is known to be required for selective macroautophagy (aggrephagy). The human version of ALFY has a canonical amino acid length of 3526 residues and a protein mass of 395.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as BCHS. Indicated applications for ALFY antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
