Anti-DCBLD2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein discoidin, CUB and LCCL domain containing 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 775 amino acid residues and a mass of 85 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be highly expressed in the testis, heart, skeletal muscle and also in cultured vascular smooth muscle cells. DCBLD2 is known to be involved with the regulation of cell growth. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include 1700055P21Rik, CUB, LCCL and coagulation factor V/VIII-homology domains protein 1, coagulation factor V/VIII-homology domains protein 1, and discoidin, CUB and LCCL domain-containing protein 2. DCBLD2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of DCBLD2 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunofluorescence are common applications for these antibodies.
