Anti-BIA1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the BIA1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TRIM11 gene, which encodes tripartite motif containing 11. This protein is known to function in innate immune responses and the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. The human version of BIA1 has a canonical amino acid length of 468 residues and a protein mass of 52.8 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. BIA1 is a member of the TRIM/RBCC protein family. Western Blot is the most common application for the BIA1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
