Anti-BCLF-1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The BCLF-1 antigen is another term for the human protein translin, encoded by the TSN gene. The protein is reported to be a dna-binding protein that specifically recognizes consensus sequences at the breakpoint junctions in chromosomal translocations, mostly involving immunoglobulin (Ig)/T-cell receptor gene segments. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 228 residues and a mass of 26.2 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. The BCLF-1 protein is a member of the Translin protein family. Indicated applications for BCLF-1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
