Anti-ZNFD antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ZNFD antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the FAM170A gene, which encodes family with sequence similarity 170 member A. This protein is known to function in transcription by RNA polymerase II, among other biological roles. The human version of ZNFD has a canonical amino acid length of 330 residues and a protein mass of 37.2 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and notably expressed in the testis. ZNFD is a member of the FAM170 protein family.
